Summit Overview: Addressing the Agriculture Sector’s Labour Force Needs

Over 300 stakeholders from across the country are convening to discuss how to strengthen Canada’s immigration system. A key focus area is on how the immigration system can better meet the labour force needs of Canada’s agriculture sector. This is a continuation of the 2017 Summit which featured recommendations by CAHRC’s very own Mark Wales. This year’s Summit is featuring two speakers from Manitoba and New Brunswick representing pork, poultry, and turkey manufacturers, as well as the federal government’s Director General responsible for the Provincial Nominee Program.

The Summit offers you ample opportunities to network with leading representatives from various sectors including government, business, and immigration law and consulting.
