Current Workforce
• The agriculture sector in New Brunswick employed 8,190 domestic workers during peak season in 2022.
• Aquaculture is the largest agricultural employer in the province, employing 22 per cent of the sector’s workforce, followed by greenhouse, nursery and floriculture, which employs 19 per cent.
