About

If you hire temporary foreign workers in agriculture, important changes are coming.

The temporary suspension of minimum advertising requirements ends January 1, 2026, and employers will once again need to provide proof of advertising and recruitment efforts when applying for an LMIA.

Job Bank has recently introduced several key updates that will directly affect how agricultural employers post jobs and demonstrate recruitment compliance — including:

- Direct Apply functionality
- New communication methods between Job Bank and employers
- Stricter requirements for roles and permissions for Job Bank employer accounts

This 45-minute webinar will walk you through these updates, explain what they mean for your upcoming LMIA applications, and help you stay compliant.

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the Job Bank team.
