National Occupational Standard and Essential Skills profile of a Landscape Horticulturist

This occupational analysis (also referred to as a national occupational standard) was developed by the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC) and industry professionals. It describes the skills, knowledge and abilities required to perform the duties of a Landscape Horticulturist. Occupational standards can be used for a variety of purposes, including: acting as the basis for training; curriculum development; accreditation of training programs; recruitment; performance improvement; career development and the certification of practitioners.
